Shawn is a 10-year US Navy veteran and a proven Defense Industry and Business Leader in Project Management, Training and Continuous Improvement. The inspiration behind Honor Box Studios began during a deeply personal moment, while home on leave, Shawn asked his grandfather, an Army medic in World War II about his service.

To his astonishment, he learned that his grandfather was a Purple Heart recipient and had been part of several historic moments. These stories, long tucked away and unspoken, revealed a legacy that had been quietly stored in a closet, both literally and figuratively. That conversation sparked a realization, how many other powerful stories and treasured items from veterans and first responders remain untold or forgotten.

From this moment, the vision for Honor Box Studios was inspired, with a mission to preserve and honor these incredible legacies while providing meaningful work and renewed purpose to veterans and first responders.
